its kinda long, and can be summed up as "chugging along, slowly..." and "the nonstop torture of polishing and rewriting"... and "writing is my kryptonite". But, que sera sera. It will be done when it is done

I'll just go to the positives, which is... here are some pose and lighting test for two ero scenes that I hope I can put in the next update if I can write it with a quality that is good enough for me btw, these aren't spoilers its a porn game, we all knew this is going to happen somehow

Yep! Hahaha. You are definitely onto something here. The question that you're asking is the one that will lead to the actual question posed by the story...if i'm allowed to be pretentious m(_ _)m

As I said, I think it's quite overt which it is, but still a very interesting plotpoint. I'm excited to see how that develops. Don't rush things and follow through with whatever you planned. It is looking very good so far.

I prefer to be open about it how I plan to do my update, so you might have to wait at least 1-2 more months 0_0

That would still be a quite short development cycle. Such short cycles are more typical with run-of-the-mill VNs that look like all the others due to default assets. And yours really doesn't, which is a good thing.

Looking at the sneak peeks I got a question. Are you planning "routes" of any sorts or branching? A kinetic story is of course much easier as a first time solo dev and allows for more work and detail on the "main" path. Looks promising though

well, actually 2 months from now would place it around 3-4 months since the first update, so its quite long. since the next update is not going to be as long as the first one (the first update was about 20k words, i'm aiming at around 7-10k for this one), i still hope it is doable.

I still don't have a big enough reputation to go a long time without any releases

TBH, the bottleneck between mine and the other VN are different. Most Daz based game are bottlenecked by their rendering speed, while since i use Honeyselect 2, mine would be getting the pose and lighting correct..and writing the text hahahaha

My plan is to go kinetic for now because, as you said, it allows me to focus more content on a path that all player will go through, instead of spreading it around. that being said, i'm planning a branch on the next update, but that branch will join back to the main plot right after. In my current plan, this branch is for the sex scene because:

• it doesn't affect the plot in an immediate way,
• but due to the nature of the story, it doesn't really make sense that both of those branches took place.

• since the UI is structured around what is basically a polished gallery, the player can simply replay those different branches anyway, because they are self contained within the same chapter, although their saved choice is unchanged.
